A Problem Worth Solving
I follow eight (and growing) data and AI meetup groups in the DC metro area. Finding these events was easy. Keeping track of them across different email lists, announced at unpredictable times, with no single place to see what was coming up, was the real challenge. More than once I found out about something I would have loved to attend the day after it happened.
I wanted a one-stop shop. Every upcoming event I cared about, in one place, with a single click to RSVP.
The second motivation was just as important. I wanted to build something genuinely useful with Claude Code. Not a tutorial project. Something I would actually use often.
